Long-term

source: 3x3x2 matrix capturing my focus for 2015, 2010, and 2008
Mastery+2015_Outcomes.png
  1. communication
    • coordinating great things in life with 100 members of my community through a wiki -- sharing my expertise in collaboration with everyone in my life and receiving the support of colleagues who also exude leadership and introduce them to friends & family!
  2. career - relaunching a full-time career in Japan. practice my leadership skills face-to-face
    • GOAL: have solid cashflow to support a future family and be a great dad ^_^
    • new resume that captures how I make a difference for others by listening to how people acknowledge me and call on me.
    • being of assistance in the area of innovation in 4 different fields & industries.
    • have a peaceful place to live. living simply and learning to be a minimalist.
  3. love - a wonderful relationship with Mayumi
    • published vision as for what we see for our life and our family.
    • declare a fun community project to work on together.
      • IDEA: a project in the development sector and expand Japan's presence in this area.
      • IDEA: a dance event that shares a beautiful form of connected dance. Willingness to tap into theatre professionals and see what comes of it!

I believe the following domains are naturally integrated above: family, home, leadership, transformation, well being, and dance!

Monkey at work

  1. time/schedule integration - related to project management. does not automatically "sync" with my calendar. my calendar is what I live off of - this page is the worksheet I am using to help coordinate outcomes and requests with my community at large. We'll have to deal with this delicate balance!
  2. data integration - respect for data presented in other ways. embedding spreadsheet cells into wiki (example above is a mockup). something I need to come to grips with is to just keep using this wiki for what it is and walk into a future where we can all talk about what worked and didn't work once I get to Japan! I don't want to make the absence of such a feature (and one I feel is (or will be) present in Jotspot now that Google has acquired this technology. (yet another idea of how I can make a difference at Google!))
  3. information hiding - it would be nice to collapse sections like TiddlyWiki. for example, perhaps when you open this page - long-term results section is collapsed to allow one to focus on short-term results and just see the 4-6 window.
