a woman freeing herself with unbounded possibility - for a man to have the power to give her complete freedom yet have the direction to give her confidence that her freedom is safe. that he is able to "harness" her power yet not dominate or control her - she is ultimately free to create whatever she wants in life!

Who I am

be someone who allows Mayumi to open and blossom into the fine young woman she already is and allow her to take the lead where she is naturally inspired

What is happening

Who Mayumi is for me is someone who allows me to be myself and accepts me for who I am. We are able to make mistakes and learn together in a way that is very fulfilling - we are able to grow together. I am here in Japan (April 2008) out of my commitment to make things happen and we talk about getting married one day and having kids! This may be quick for a lot of you (we met online on facebook in Aug 2007) and want you to know this is really what is happening!

Possibility

1. we find each other complementary by appreciating each other's lives
2. we give each other space to be great. we are straight about our wants & desires and allow the other to make powerful choices.
3. we take care and nuture each other. we strive to die first by making sure the other lives longer! (u gotta put a positive spin on this and see we both live long!) ;-D
4. we give up our lives for each other. we want each other to have the best!

Declarations

1. we have a foundation of integrity. we believe with such a foundation, anything can happen in our relationship - we have the freedom to make mistakes because we ultimately come back to a foundation of what works in a relationship.
2. we are pioneers of a new generation of wonderfully, open, cross-cultural people - we aspire to support a new generation who are less bounded by race, sex, and all the other crazy stuff we do as a society (not wrong of course, it's just the way it is now)
3. we are present to trust, belief, confidence in our relationship and our lives.
4. we allow ourselves to vulnerable to our friends and not take things they say personally and just listen.
5. we listen for the concerns of others and have them be heard.
6. we allow each other to take the lead when we are inspired. we let go of expectations of another.
7. we allow ourselves to be brutally straight with each other and share what we accept and don't accept about each other.
8. we allows others to judge us and not take it personally. we are confident in ourselves and just be.
9. we believe in getting back to a space of nothing and completing the past - quickly!
10. we believe in improvising with life - sometimes to the point of winging it and we get we have a responsibility over our freedom in life.
11. we unleash ourself and express ourselves in ways that excite others

12. we play around with partnership at every chance we get and make a difference for each other - we find ways to make it fun.
13. we entertain conversations around the future (ie. living together) even though that may not necessarily be where we are at right now. we are open to the future we ultimately want to create at every moment!

15. we invent new ways of playing with each other - we find new ways of communicating with each other esp those that are non-verbal!
16. we hold each other to living our potential yet we give space for each other to grow - we nuture each other.
17. we are responsible for our actions including our word. we create the world through our word and as a result, responsible for impact our word may have on others!
18. our word has power - we say chair, chair falls our of our mouths (does it work this way with a baby? ;-)
19. we have the ability to provide and seduce in differing realms
    • for example, chin is a master of seducing those on the dance floor and in the realm of the Internet!
    • dance creates space for physical intimacy and the Internet literally, umm...creates LOTS of physical space!!!!
    • at the end of the day, Mayumi is queen!
