UPDATE: wow - you give up your concerns and
this is present on our 5th anniversary! Think it suffices say what you see below goes down in history - we're complete!
ok - I've decided to put this page here in my personal wikispace to distinguish what I feel is in my way to making Dance Labs a reality. I'm currently reading a book by Mr. Schultz called
Pour Your Heart Into It that serves as an inspiration to create this page. Special thanks to Pia, Morn, Pech, and my dad for making this all happen - it's stuff that just needs getting done :)
Issues
- cashflow - cashflow getting tight. do not want to "work for money" - want to "pour my heart" into it. causes concerns for others (ie. my parents). without doing detailed calculations, i'm net positive with some retirement in the bank i'd rather not tap into short-term.
- well being - my current wellness wheel. never thought being an independent researcher, consultant, startup, grassroots dude would be so challenging to keep tabs on everything in a developing country. want to start swimming again.
- ergonomics - knowledge work (esp on computer) not up to snuff while travelling. have yet to see an internet cafe, friend's computer, organization computer have the integrity to ergonomics as my own desk. this equally applies to the security and stability of my computing environment
- not central - trips out of the office are a complete chore. central location would be beneficial. regular connections to community in central bangkok would be a big plus.
- divergence - i have notes in email, notebooks, blogs, wikis online, wikis offline. request for one world!
Projects
this is technically the beginnings of a wiki-driven homeboy GTD system - no next action list for the moment. what is also missing is automation - a wiki with a scriptable API and ability to handle structured data is a plus.

- draft proposal for Plan - dance for kids, deployment to 62 Plan countries
- recontextualize GTD system in the context of Dance Labs in paper Thai GTD Binder
- learning Thai (beginner CD set)
Not Now
the "never not doing now" list according to Mission Control...
