everyone loves movies and everyone tells ya bout movies to watch.

I have to admit Netflix was one of the first technologies that really worked really well in regards to managing your "queue" of movies and delivering them to your doorstop! this was a dramatic change in distribution model.

I'm not in California anymore (I inquired about starting the model in Bangkok but it was not their focus) - clearly they are dealing with competition from products like AppleTV

So I've been using a list on IMDB to manage my ratings - it is very cumbersome and not integrated at all with Netflix.

Flixster was introduced to me through Facebook - you see reviews that others can see and it is very "active" in this way. My reviews can easily be "discovered" the facebook-way and I really like it. It was one of the first facebook apps that really had me see what's possible - that you can pull data from flixster.com and represent it in a social networking framework/platform.

again, everything is not integrated but I can say that Flixster is around to stay!

now I do wish there was an easier way to input movies (like importing a list or something):

  1. Cloverfield - P2P
  2. Alexander - greeks
  3. Blade Runner
