I have a trip cord because my external speakers are tied to 1/8" headphone output

1. dock iPhone (iPod!) to speakers
   • issue: rubber skin doesn't make it easy to dock w/o taking it off.
2. mac mini (desktop)
3. Apple TV
4. mini airport - has jack for speakers
5. CD player
6. DVD player (out to TV/hifi system)
7. Burning Man ;-)

somehow it is a combination of all of these!
