Bangkok

While on a mission to find a place for our [[Dance Labs:Center]] - I stopped by iHouse to see if it was a viable place to live. It wasn't exactly up to my standards but I really got the location was great. I listened to Gung, the owner of a design firm at RCA and he said RCA is very accessible from different directions (I assume by car)

given that the extension of the skytrain will go through RCA - there will be a direct link to the airport - this is definitely very nice.

I was questioning whether RCA would still attract the right "art" crowd - I think the hardcore dancers, artists, actors don't live here. iHouse reports mostly young singles in their 20s.

It did ring possibility:
  1. easy access to center
  2. art theater
  3. club district (esp if Dance Seduction were to go live)
  4. business nearby (without having to live upstairs **too* attached to the office)
  5. lots of parking
  6. lots of cafes for clients
  7. lots of restaurants

the shopping complex needs revamping - i think this would naturally happen over time esp once the skytrain goes through - it will naturally be accessible and begin to widen.

how I wish I had the disposable income to just invest on the spot! I can't say it is guaranteed - but it would have been a calculated risk.

brings new purpose to how I go about my life. however, it's easy to see how the reason of "I don't have the money now" or "it's too risky" stopped me from acting!

I'm complete with that decision - it's good to reflect now that I am leaving Bangkok!
